Terms & conditions of attendance.Canada–Africa Business & Investment Summit 2027

September 17–18, 2027 at Ottawa Salon – Rogers Centre Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and participants attending the Canada–Africa Business & Investment Summit 2027.

By registering for the Summit, participants agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Registration & Fees

Each delegate ticket includes:

  • One delegate access pass
  • Entry to Summit sessions and networking areas
  • Access to investment forums and presentations
  • Lunch and refreshments during conference days
  • Access to the InvestorMatch digital networking platform
  • Access to schedule meetings with registered participants

Registration does not include:

  • Flights
  • Accommodation
  • Visa costs
  • Travel insurance
  • Personal expenses

Participants must complete payment before receiving full event access.

All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes or processing fees may apply.

Registration Confirmation

After successful registration and payment, delegates will receive a confirmation email.

For assistance:

Discounts & Promotional Offers

  • Discounts, promotional codes, or special rates cannot be combined unless approved
  • Discounts cannot be applied retroactively
  • Discounts are subject to availability

Group delegation discounts may be available for qualifying organizations.

Cancellation Policy

Delegate registrations, Deal Room tables, and optional event tickets canceled more than 30 days before the Summit may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to administrative fees.

Cancellations received within 30 days of the Summit may not be eligible for a refund.

Complimentary, sponsored, or transferred tickets are non-refundable.

Visa & Travel Responsibility

International delegates are responsible for understanding and meeting the Government of Canada's entry requirements.

Depending on nationality, delegates may require:

  • Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa)
  • Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Receiving an invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval, does not guarantee entry into Canada, and does not replace immigration requirements.

Visa decisions are made exclusively by the Government of Canada.

Delegates are responsible for:

  • Visa applications
  • Flights
  • Accommodation
  • Insurance
  • Travel expenses

Delegate Substitutions

Delegate substitutions may be permitted with prior written approval.

Requests must include:

  • Original delegate information
  • Replacement delegate information
  • Company authorization when applicable

Deal Room & InvestorMatch Platform

The Summit may provide access to:

  • InvestorMatch platform
  • Deal Room meetings
  • Investment opportunity showcases
  • Digital Deal Books

Participants agree:

  • Not to misuse participant information
  • Not to scrape or extract data
  • Not to share confidential materials without permission

Business Solicitation Policy

To protect sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates, unauthorized promotion or solicitation during the Summit is prohibited.

Commercial promotion must occur through approved sponsorship packages, exhibition spaces, or official partnership opportunities.

Event Program Changes

The organizer reserves the right to adjust the agenda, speakers, sessions, timing, venue arrangements, and event format when necessary.

Speakers Disclaimer

Opinions expressed by speakers, panelists, or participants are their own.

The Summit organizer does not guarantee or endorse investment outcomes, business results, or financial advice. Participants are responsible for conducting their own due diligence.

Photography, Video & Media Consent

By attending the Summit, participants acknowledge that photos, videos, and recordings may be captured.

These materials may be used for marketing, media, social platforms, and future event promotion without additional compensation.

Insurance

Delegates are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance covering travel disruption, medical needs, personal property, and unexpected cancellation.

Fraud Awareness

Participants should be aware of unauthorized third parties claiming to sell delegate lists, hotel services, or travel arrangements. Only trust official Summit communications.

Health, Safety & Right of Admission

The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or remove participants when necessary for safety, security, or event integrity.

Force Majeure

The Summit organizer is not responsible for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, health emergencies, travel disruptions, security situations, and other extraordinary events.
