Refund & Cancellation Policy

Registration Fees & Cancellation
All delegate registrations, Deal Room reservations, networking event tickets, and associated participation fees are considered final once confirmed.
Registration fees are:
- Non-refundable
- Non-transferable without written approval
- Not eligible for cancellation after confirmation
This policy allows the Summit organizers to secure venue commitments, technology platforms, delegate services, event operations, and networking infrastructure.
Visa Refusal or Unable to Attend
Delegates are responsible for securing all required travel documents, including visas or electronic travel authorizations required by the Government of Canada.
If a registered international delegate is unable to attend in person due to visa refusal, travel restrictions, or other circumstances, the delegate may receive alternative participation opportunities, including:
- Access to selected virtual sessions (where available)
- InvestorMatch digital platform access
- Online networking opportunities
- Virtual business introductions
- Future investment networking opportunities
Visa refusal or inability to travel does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Invitation letters issued by the Summit are provided only to support travel documentation and do not guarantee visa approval or entry into Canada.
All immigration decisions remain under the authority of the Government of Canada.
Delegate Substitution
Requests to replace a registered delegate with another representative from the same organization may be considered upon written request and approval by the Summit organizing team.
Event Changes & Force Majeure
The organizers of the Canada–Africa Business & Investment Summit 2027 will make every reasonable effort to deliver the Summit as scheduled.
However, circumstances beyond the organizer’s reasonable control may require changes, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Public health emergencies
- Government restrictions
- Travel disruptions
- Labor disputes
- Security situations
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Other extraordinary circumstances
In such cases, the organizer reserves the right to:
- Modify the event format
- Provide a hybrid or virtual experience
- Reschedule the Summit
- Adjust the program, speakers, agenda, or venue arrangements
The organizer shall not be responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, including:
- Flights
- Hotels
- Travel arrangements
- Visa expenses
- Personal costs
Continued Access & Value Commitment
If circumstances require a change of format, registered delegates will continue to receive access to available Summit benefits, including:
- InvestorMatch platform
- Digital networking opportunities
- Investment connections
- Business matchmaking resources
