Visa invitation letters.

Confirmed delegates from visa-required countries can request an official invitation letter to support their Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) application.

The Canada Africa Business and Investment Summit 2027 takes place 17 – 18 September 2027 at Centre Rogers, Ottawa. Delegates traveling from countries whose nationals require a visa to enter Canada can request an official letter of invitation from the Summit organisers to accompany their TRV application.

Who is eligible?

  • You have completed registration and paid your delegate fee (Standard, Investor, or VIP pass).
  • You hold a passport from a country that requires a TRV to enter Canada.
  • Your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

How to request the letter

On the registration form, select “Yes, please issue one” under Invitation letter for visaand provide the following passport details:

  • Full name exactly as it appears in your passport
  • Passport number
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth

Processing time

Invitation letters are issued by email as a signed PDF within 5 business days of confirmed payment. If you are travelling within 30 days, email contact@mbomboinvestmentgroup.ca with the subject line “Urgent visa letter”.

Important notice

The invitation letter confirms your participation in the Summit only. It is not a visa and does not guarantee approval of your TRV application or entry into Canada. Visa decisions are made solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Delegates are responsible for all visa fees, biometrics, and supporting documentation.

Refund policy on visa refusal

If your TRV application is refused, you may request a refund of your delegate fee (less a CAD 150 processing charge) by sending the official IRCC refusal letter to the Summit registration team no later than 15 August 2027.
